* Many supplementary reading books published for Grades one and two contain all the syllabic content, so there is little opportunity for the child to read without the support of parents or teachers. However, since this series of books is presented step by step, starting with the unsyllabic words, it provides a great support for building the child’s reading habit.

Read Ask 2 – Alapilla

Words are formed by starting with two letters and adding consonants to the beginning, middle, and end. Once the child has recognized the consonants well, encourage the child to pronounce the words mentioned in this book with and without consonants, so that the child can better understand and absorb the difference. Help the child to do this with pleasure as a fun game.
